How to Request Account Deletion
You can delete your Varto account directly from the app:
- Open the Varto app on your device
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the top right)
- Scroll to the bottom of the page
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your request in the dialog
You can also request deletion by emailing us at support@varto.business from the email address associated with your account.
30-Day Grace Period
After you request deletion, your account enters a 30-day grace period. During this time your account is deactivated but not yet deleted. You can cancel the deletion at any time by simply signing back in.
After the 30-day period, your account and all associated data are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.
Data That Is Deleted
When your account is permanently deleted, the following data is removed:
- Your business profile and settings
- Client records and contact information
- Invoices, estimates, and payment records
- Bookings and calendar data
- Expenses and receipts
- Messages and communication history
- Uploaded files, logos, and images
Data That May Be Retained
Certain data may be retained for a limited period after deletion as required by law or for legitimate business purposes:
- Transaction records — payment transaction logs may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and financial compliance
- Anonymized analytics — aggregated, non-identifiable usage data may be retained for product improvement
- Legal obligations — any data required to comply with legal proceedings, regulatory requirements, or fraud prevention
